The Story

I had just got back from South Africa painting with the Black Eyed Peas and saw a great annual charity gig called the Sunflower Jam. It funded The Sam Buxton Sunflower Healing Trust (cancertherapies.org.uk) who provide complimentary therapy to cancer patients in the NHS - started by a great woman called Angie Buxton-King. I donated a painting to the charity and painting live at the event too. Paul Weller and Robert Plant were just incredible as you can imagine and for me it was double incredible since they were part of my upbringing with music. The Sunflower Jam still happens every year and the video here shows footage from the gigs I painted, although you wont see me as I'm just out of view on stage right.
